your visibility system should support your work

artists are increasingly expected to maintain two parallel bodies of work: the creative practice itself and the continual production of content proving that the work exists.when the second begins supervising the first, conventional advice usually recommends greater consistency, more content, or more personal exposure. those recommendations do not resolve unclear priorities, accumulated decisions, or a system that collapses whenever capacity changes.Visible Without Performing is a three-session working series designed to address the structure beneath the posting schedule.you will clarify what visibility needs to accomplish, decide what different channels and content types are responsible for, and build a system that can adjust to changing capacity without requiring you to begin again after every interruption.

what you will build

by the end of the series, you will have created the first usable version of a personal visibility system, including:

• a clear purpose for visibility and the boundaries your system needs to respect• defined roles for your channels and content types• a realistic minimum level of visibility• capacity-adjusted maintenance modes• pause rules and a practical return process after interruption• a one-page personal visibility system• a focused implementation experiment

our goal is to reduce recurring visibility decisions so more of your time and attention can remain with your creative practice.

who this cohort is for

Visible Without Performing is designed for working artists and creative business owners whose current visibility efforts compete with the work itself, require more capacity than is consistently available, or disappear entirely after an interruption.

you may be a strong fit if:

• you repeatedly rebuild your content process after busy or difficult periods• you want clearer decisions about where to show up and what each channel should accomplish• you want structure without becoming a high-volume content creator• you need a visibility system that can accommodate changing capacity• you want to communicate your work without making frequent video or personal disclosure mandatory• you are willing to examine the system around your visibility, rather than only collect more post ideas

you do not need a large following, an established posting routine, or a full-time creative practice to participate.this may not be the right fit if your primary goal is rapid follower growth, trend replication, daily posting volume, done-for-you marketing, or a guaranteed formula for platform performance.

ABOUT VERDANT HEARTH CONSULTING

thoughtful systems for
meaningful work

the Visible Without Performing founding cohort is led by Evan Miller, founder of Verdant Hearth Consulting. Evan is a creative business strategist and visibility systems designer, who helps artists make sense of complicated brands, offers, audiences, and content demands.

Evan’s work has included brand architecture, offer positioning, content strategy, launch planning, workshop promotion, collector communication, and multi-account visibility systems across fine art, creative education, live events, and community-based projects.

her strength is seeing the structure beneath the overwhelm: identifying what is creating unnecessary pressure, clarifying what the business actually needs, and turning scattered activity into a system that can be understood and maintained.

Verdant Hearth Consulting is built around a simple principle: visibility should support the artist’s work, not consume the time and energy required
to make it.

the approach is strategic, practical, and grounded in real creative businesses. recommendations are shaped around the artist’s goals, resources, audience, and available capacity, rather than an idealized content schedule or one-size-fits-all marketing formula.
